Light, Slowly
On quiet rooms, incidental light, and the images that wait before they reveal themselves.

Some photographs begin with an event. Others begin with almost nothing: a wall, a curtain, a thin line of afternoon light. I return to these quieter scenes because they do not ask to be explained immediately.
The camera makes ordinary space feel briefly unfamiliar. It allows a room to hold a memory before the memory has a name.
